Season 3, Episode 6 - “End of Game”
Home is where your vinyl collection is, yet the idea of home is not something Georgia knows well. Though her house is decorated with the things she loves most, paintings, books, of course music, and other little sentiments - the sense of home is something she is still learning to curate. You can tell in her interior design that she cares about the aesthetic, yet there’s something about the way things are cluttered that shows at any moment she could be hitting the road; throwing things into boxes and never being fully.. settled. Much like how she felt while touring, always escaping to a new place. Hanging things up on the wall is a new thing for her, trying to make her space feel more permanent. Finally cracking open the various prints she retrieved while traveling definitely makes her space feel more lived in and less like a hotel.
Georgia is trying to become someone with a green thumb, adorning every lonely corner with a plant that she promptly names and gives a specific personality. She stresses heavy whenever her plants aren’t doing too well; usually calling Zoe to help talk her down and giving her pointers when she can. Endless google searches in her history on what each plant could possibly need.
Sometimes her plants and her lovely corgi puppy, Kiwi, are the only things that get her out of bed on those days when the outside feels too heavy or too daunting. Having to care for something other than herself is a pressure she doesn’t take lightly. Specific days of the week are plant days, making sure to re-pot them and give them the care they desire.
She is currently working on a room in her house that can transport you back to the music of the 70s-80s, really taking inspiration from the retro tones and vibe that she and her sister would bond over. Crank up the teenage angst. They always dreamed of moving out and having their own space together where they could listen to music and just exist outside of their reality for a while. Georgia calls this her “smoke room” or “the dungeon”, where limited phone usage is encouraged and where she often goes to disassociate and write new material or experiment with a new sound on her guitar. She plans to make it a small recording studio kind of vibe, but it’s still in the works. Knowing Georgia and the way her mind works, come 3 am on a random Tuesday and she will be rearranging and changing everything in her home to gain some sense of control on the things she can change.

Stop fiddling with that thing! And sit up straight. Remember, you’re a Grand Duchess. — How is that you know what Grand Duchesses do or don’t do?
